About the Old Hill Inn

Situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, nestling between Ingleborough and Whernside, The Old Hill Inn is an ancient establishment of great character, which dates back to 1615. Originally a farm, then Drovers inn, now specialises in delicious home cooked food and excellent puddings.

A family business run by Colin Martin, a famous pastry chef and sugar sculptor extraordinaire, whose spectacular sculptures are on display in the dining room, will create your desserts and wife Sabena Martin, the chef who assembles the mouth-watering meals, while their youngest daughter Molly manages front of house and accommodation.

Why staying at the Old Hill Inn is so special

A homely place with roaring log fires, open beams, where Winston Churchill used to stay for hunting and fishing holidays. It’s a perfect place for a cosy meal and a pint of well-kept, refreshing beer.

With two beautiful en-suite bedrooms, a caravan site and two glamping pods, it makes an ideal spot to stay for any walkers wanting to explore the National Park or just anybody needing a peaceful getaway, while surrounded by the stunning scenery.
